Menu d'Italia

As long as we can remember we've loved Italian food and now we love it even more. Here are a selection of our favourite dishes.

Primi Piatti

Our three favourite types of pasta: Ravioli which melts in your mouth, Stuffed Gnocchi and Spaghetti of Seven Colours/Flavours.

Our three favourite pasta sauces: Sage Butter with Cinnamon, Sicilian Volcano Sauce, Walnut and Cream Sauce.

During our five or so weeks in the country, we attempted to sample as many types of pasta as possible. Yaz managed to go 27 days without repetition.

We had Ravioli, Stuffed Gnocchi, Trofie, Lasagna, Spaghetti, Fettucine, Tortelli, Tagliatelle, Chicche, Frappa, Gnocchi, Spaghetti Colorati, Papardelle di Farro, Penne, Topini, Farfalle, Cannelloni, Tonnarelli, Baiocchi, Strozzapreti, Linguine, Tagliolini, Pennete, Fusilli, Panzerotti, Sedanini, Paglia, Agnolotti, Stricoli, Gnocchetti, Bigolli, Maccheroni, Paccheri, Bucatini, Vermicelli Romano, Cavatelli and Stringozzi.
