We also visited the beautifully situated village of Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland. The village is at the bottom of the valley.
We took the exhausting Männlichen cable car all the way up to above 2,200m altitude.

The route down took several hours, accompanied by wild flowers and butterflies.
At the bottom of the glacier is the Gletscherschlucht.
